What it is, and why it matters.
A masonry fireplace is built from a firebox, a smoke chamber, a flue and a chimney, and every part has to work together to draw smoke up and out. The finish is what you see, but the structure behind it is what makes the fire safe and satisfying.
We build masonry fireplaces and fireplace surrounds for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee, in brick, natural stone or stone veneer. We also add masonry faces to existing fireplaces and work with builders on new construction.
Four things done right.

Clearances respected

Indoor Fireplace Construction: common questions
Can you put a stone face on my brick fireplace?
Yes. With the right preparation we can cover or replace the brick face with natural stone or stone veneer, and we can add a new hearth and mantel.
Can a fireplace use gas?
Often yes. Gas logs or a gas insert can be used in a masonry firebox, and the right installer and a safe flue are part of the plan. We explain what is involved.
How do I get a price for indoor fireplace construction?
Fill in the form or call or text 615-431-3789. We confirm what is involved and send a written price, and most projects start with a free visit.
